Let us learn each of these keys one by one.

ALPHABET KEYS These are Alphabet keys.

There are 26 Alphabet keys on the

keyboard. We use these keys to
type letters, words and sentences.

To type the word ‘computer’, press the following keys.

NUMBER KEYS

There are 10 Number keys on the keyboard. These
keys are marked with the digits 0 – 9. We use these

keys to type numbers. There are two sets of Number

keys on a keyboard.
These are Number keys.

To type the number ‘20’, press the keys 2 0

ENTER KEY

These are Enter keys.
A keyboard has two Enter keys located at
different locations. It is used to start a new

line while typing.

When we press the Enter key, the cursor

moves to the next line. For example,
