Natural Language Processing is a field of AI that deals with the interaction between humans and intelligent
systems using natural language. The basic necessity of NLP is to instruct an intelligent system such as a robot, or
want to hear decisions from a dialogue-based clinical expert system. You should remember that the input and
output data of an NLP system can be either voice or written text. For example, Microsoft Word and Grammarly
are the word processing applications that use NLP to check grammatical accuracy of texts.
The basic objective of NLP is for computers to achieve human-like comprehension of text or languages. After
achieving a defined objective, computer systems will be able to understand human language, draw inferences,
and summarise and translate natural human text.
APPLICATIONS OF NATURAL LANGUAGE PROCESSING
The various applications of Natural Language Processing are as follows:
u Conversational User Interface: A computer interface that emulates a conversation with a real human is
known as a Conversational User Interface. For example, a Chatbot delivers a user-friendly interface that
enables machines and users to communicate through text. The history and evolution of chatbots have been
impressive. Nowadays, chatbots are widely used in banking websites, e-commerce websites, etc.
