Tens and Ones
We have learnt the counting up to 50.
Now, we will learn about tens and ones.
10 and 1 more make Eleven, written as 11.
So, 1 ten and 1 one = 11 1 ten and 1 one
10 and 2 more make Twelve, written as 12.
1 ten and 2 ones = 12
1 ten and 2 ones
In the same way, different number of tens and ones can be combined to
get more numbers.
20 and 4 more make Twenty-four,
written as 24.
2 tens and 4 ones = 24 2 tens and 4 ones
30 and 6 more make
Thirty-six, written as 36.
3 tens and 6 ones = 36
